F1: The Movie
Source: IMDb
It’s landed. F1: The Movie.. starring Brad Pitt, Kerry Condon, Damson Idris, Javier Bardem, and even real-life drivers like Lewis Hamilton, Lando Norris, and Max Verstappen.
What’s cool to watch is how this movie might spark a wave of new interest, especially with younger fans just getting into racing and classic car culture. Could mean more followers, more people showing up to events, picking up classics that match their vibe, even new businesses that build up the scene.
For me, Ford vs. Ferrari did exactly that. The energy in that story—Shelby tearing it up, Ken Miles cracking jokes about the Mustang and roasting the Chevelle [“and those are terrrrrible”]..it was a moment that really lit the fire. It made the history of American racing feel personal. That movie didn’t just entertain..It pulled me into this whole world of classic cars and the friendships that come with it.
F1 might do the same. These niche films aren’t just about cars..they’re about passion, quality, and culture. That’s what moves people. We’ll be watching and reporting back..excited to see what this one stirs up.
