There’s a wonderful way of living here, and according to local drivers, it’s being disturbed by tourist buses and rent-a-scooter businesses opening with loose regulations. Not only has this new wave of space and transport rental caused a stir, but it’s also started to slow down the driving experience. Local drivers — who make their living transporting people and supplies around the mountain — are all in a big WhatsApp group, sending each other traffic heads-ups, crash alerts, and camaraderie memes to get through the day and back home to their true rhythm: family, food, and love.

This area holds memories for so many — from everyday locals to legendary events like the Sorrento Roads Race (recently won by Alfonso Facchini and Luigia Olivetti in their 1938 BMW 328*). But even closer to Caruso Classics is Scott Martin — a member of the Television Motion Picture Car Club, photojournalist, and all-around automotive storyteller. He shared a tale: a month-long adventure cruising through Italian car factories, including Lamborghini and Ferrari in Bologna, while soaking in Italy’s beauty — all deeply rooted in the classic car spirit and culture. There’s always more to learn.

Heard on the street: Alfa Romeo’s got so many models, you could choose based on whether you’re harvesting olives or lemons. But the local? He’s grabbing the bigger engine — gotta haul the dog and the ones you love.

Welcome to Caruso classics. My name is Julian Navarrete. I am interested in bringing you some excellent classic cars through those site. The cars have stories themselves, and I just want to open the doors to those interested and enjoy from different perspectives. The most exclusive and unique classic cars will be written about while sharing tips for local services in different parts of the world and how we list classic cars for collectors all over the world.. what a dream. And a dream worth having and dedicating time for. It’s also not only the car’s motor or wheels, but the people and reasons cars are driven. It’s the feelings that resonate with memories. Ahh, I’m a romantic person. It’s in my blood. And I am known to be too thoughtful so, let me be clear, I am writing from Roma, Italy… Where there’s a sense of beauty in the air as soon as you walk outdoors. The warmth, sounds and tones of the city all combine into one beautiful feeling. It’s my first time here, and I find myself saying I don’t know where I am but I am happy to be here.
