    THE STORY:

General Motors of Canada was incorporated in 1918 when it bought McLaughlin and Chevrolet Canada. In 1923 the name was officially changed to McLaughlin-Buick and cars with this name continued to be produced until 1942 in Oshawa, Canada.

This impeccably preserved 1941 Buick Special 40 4-door touring sedan combines vintage charm with modern reliability. Recent upgrades make it not only a classic beauty but also a dependable road companion.

Under the hood, a recently tuned straight-eight 4.1-liter engine powers this Buick Special 40. With new plugs, wires, a fuel pump, and a filter, it runs smoothly and reliably. Paired with a 3-speed manual transmission, this Buick delivers a driving experience that connects you to the road. To ensure safety, an upgrade will be done to the brakes for proper stopping.

The two-tone paintwork, with a lustrous black top paired with a dignified dove gray body, is a testament to its well-preserved state. This classic Buick continues to turn heads wherever it goes, as its timeless design remains a symbol of sophistication.

Stepping inside reveals an interior that marries comfort and nostalgia. The gray mohair fabric seats provide a luxurious touch, while the gray interior door panels, brown dash, and brown wood trim window treatments create an inviting ambiance reminiscent of a bygone era.

While this Buick Special is immaculate in many aspects, it's important to note that there are minor rust spots on both rear doors that are easily remedied, and in no way diminish the overall appeal and quality of this classic.

This beauty has traveled less than 40,000 miles, further confirming its outstanding condition and exceptional care over the years. The nearly new wide white wall tires ensure a smooth ride, and this Buick can comfortably cruise at speeds of up to 70 mph.

Cherished by its current owner, he has been the third, proud custodian for over 20 years. It's been a regular sight at car shows and special events, where it garners admiration and applause.
