ANOTHER CLASSIC SOLD FROM SOUTH CAROLINA!

Beautiful 1932 Chevrolet Confederate cabriolet is finished in yellow with black fenders over tan upholstery, and power comes from a 194ci inline-six paired with a three-speed manual transmission. Features include a tan soft top with chrome landau bars as well as chrome bumpers, a rumble seat, a brake light, 18" wire wheels, a rear-mounted spare wheel, running boards, and an eagle hood ornament. The car was purchased by the seller in 2021, and service performed under their ownership reportedly included the installation of a new water pump and tires. This Series BA Chevrolet is now offered with partial service records and a Massachusetts title in the seller’s name.

The Fisher-built body was repainted in its current yellow with black fenders under previous ownership, and equipment includes chrome bumpers, a single brake light, running boards, dual side-view mirrors, chrome fender vents, an eagle hood ornament, and a horn. The tan soft top features a chrome rear window surround and landau bars.

The yellow-painted wire wheels wear chrome Chevrolet hubcaps and are mounted with 5.50-18 Firestone whitewall bias-ply tires that were installed under previous ownership. A matching spare wheel and tire are mounted out back. The suspension features semi-elliptical leaf springs at all four corners. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel drum brakes.

The cockpit features a bench trimmed in tan upholstery with matching door panels. A cracked black floor mat is fitted.

The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a painted steel dashboard housing an 80-mph barrel-type speedometer and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 2,250 miles, approximately 75 of which were added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown.

The rumble bench seat is trimmed in matching brown upholstery and folds away behind the cabin.

The 194ci Stovebolt inline-six was rebuilt under previous ownership in 2014 with work including magnafluxing and resurfacing the block and cylinder head, grinding the crankshaft, and replacing the main bearings, valve guides, and two cylinder sleeves. It is equipped with a downdraft carburetor that was also rebuilt in 2014. Output was factory rated at 60 horsepower. A replacement water pump was installed under the seller’s ownership.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via a three-speed manual transmission with a freewheeling function. A new clutch was installed under previous ownership, and the seller notes that the transmission pops out of reverse.

Invoices from the engine rebuild are included in the sale.

The Massachusetts title lists an “odometer discrepancy” brand and notes that the mileage is not actual. Well maintained and garage kept.
